Evening Prayer of Trust in God.

1 bAnswer me when cI call, O God
I.e. who maintains my right
of my righteousness!
You have
Lit made room for
,
frelieved me in my distress;
Be ggracious to me and hhear my prayer.

2O sons of men, how long will imy
Or glory
honor become ka reproach?
How long will you love lwhat is worthless and aim at mdeception?
Selah may mean: Pause, Crescendo or Musical interlude
Selah.
3But know that the Lord has

The Lord rhears when I call to Him.

xMeditate in your heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

Or righteous sacrifices
the zsacrifices of righteousness,
And aatrust in the Lord.

6Many are saying, abWho will show us any good?”
acLift up the light of Your countenance upon us, O Lord!
7You have put adgladness in my heart,
More than when their grain and new wine abound.
8In peace I will
Or at the same time
both aflie down and sleep,
For You alone, O Lord, make me to agdwell in safety.
